Life has its full-circle moments. This one is mine.
The bulk of my nearly 30 years in sports media was spent specifically in sports writing. In 2017, I pivoted to dive into something exciting and new — television basketball analysis and reporting for Denver Nuggets games.
And after nearly 10 years of that, with highlights of covering the Nuggets’ 2023 championship run and winning two Emmy Awards along the way, I am back; again bangin away at keys on a keyboard.
But this isn’t about just running back to something familiar. It’s about using that foundation to layer-in the new. And so I welcome you to Demps & Circumstance, a place where we’ll get past the ‘what’ and talk so much more about the ‘why’ with the Nuggets and NBA basketball.
And, over time, branching out to more sporting things beyond just those two.
It will be written and broken-down with videos and podcasted and engaged with a community of the best fans in the world. I am excited to grow with you!
